Best Personal Styling Service for the Terminally Lazy

June 20, 2012

What with the crowds and the parking and the ill-lit dressing rooms, it's amazing that there are women who like to shop. For those who don't, CakeStyle is a fairy godmother that brings outfits to your doorstep instead of Prince Charming. Upon signing up, clients are assigned a stylist and answer questions about lifestyle, fit, and preferences. Then the company sends you a box of four to six outfits, complete with shoes, accessories, and a video explaining how to wear them. The service and shipping are free—clients pay only for the items they keep. If you still crave personal interaction, the company's River North showroom is available for group styling and shopping events.

I don't like trying different clothes on at the stores I shop at and when I read this winning review I thought that they had clothes for men and women but I just checked the website and it says they ONLY provide service to busy working women! So I am wondering why Heather Kenny, who did the review, didn't mention at all that the business ONLY cartered to women??!!
