Inspired by open mike nights yet not an open mike, Dance Chance features three randomly chosen Chicago choreographers informally presenting 15-minute pieces. At the end of each performance, choreographers put names into a fishbowl of others they would like to see perform at the next installment. Three are chosen, along with one alternate, and thus a dance program is born. Monday's installment of the monthly event, a collaboration between DanceWorks Chicago and the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, will see works by Mollie Mock, Donna PridGeon, and Lauren Stewart. Visual artist Kevin "Vin" Reed will lead a meet-the-artist discussion. The performance takes place tonight from 6-7 PM at the Ruth Page Center, 1016 N. Dearborn, 312-337-6543.
