Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Billy Martin, best known for his work as drummer for Medeski Martin & Wood, partnered with Bay Area organ player Wil Blades on Shimmy—an album filled "with beats that lean toward hard funk more than buoyant swing" according to Peter Margasak—and the two will perform together at SPACE in Evanston.

At the Museum of Contemporary Art in Streeterville, Scott Schuman signs copies of his photo collection, titled The Sartorialist: Closer.

If you can handle the crowds, the annual Christkindlmarket is in full swing at the Richard J. Daley Center in the Loop; German sausages, hot cider, and long lines abound!
