Those who celebrate Hanukkah ought to head out to the Chicago Botanic Garden, where they can enjoy an afternoon of traditional Jewish holiday music performed live.

At the Prop Thtr, the Irish American Heritage Center is hosting a Hurricane Sandy benefit show titled From Lake Shore to Jersey Shore, featuring music performed by former east-coasters living in Chicago.

For book enthusiasts, the Empty Bottle is hosting Pop Up Book Fair, where the city's independent publishers will have books and other items for sale. Presented by Chicago Writers House Project.
