Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

"Metal Guru," is it you? If so (and if you get that reference), then head to Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar for Glam, Bam, Thank You Ma'am!, a glam-rock dance party hosted by DJ Michael "Moc Artsy" Latham.

The Russ Johnson Quartet plays tonight at Elastic. Peter Margasak writes, "Long one of the best and most overlooked postbop practitioners in New York, where [Johnson] worked as a sideman with the likes of Jenny Scheinman, Michael Bates, and Lee Konitz, he moved to Milwaukee last year to teach, and Chicagoans have benefited from his proximity. Tonight he’s leading a quartet with two locals, drummer Tim Daisy and bassist Anton Hatwich, both of whom he’s played with before."

It's one of the last chances to catch Rudolph the Red-Hosed Reindeer at Hamburger Mary's. Dan Jakes says that "David Cerda's witty, raunchy 15th annual holiday comedy holds up nicely."
