Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Fan-fiction fanatics, you're in luck. Tonight the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival presents Hey, I'm a Big Fan, featuring readings of passionately imagined adventures from Star Trek, the Harry Potter series, and Dr. Who. Hear the stories at Stage 773.

Bedroom Sons headline a four-act show at Township, but the Reader's Leor Galil recommends you get there in time for opening act Options, aka local singer-songwriter Seth Engel: "Engel is a straight shooter—his lovely cycling guitars come through crisp and clean, and he wields them them like a power-pop slugger, aiming for maximum accessibility." Kittyhawk and the Please & Thank Yous also open.

The Jazz Art Record Collective features a performance of Gene Shaw's Debut in Blues by the Cameron Pfiffner Sextet. The show is at Fulton Street Collective.
