Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

The NHL Stadium Series, wherein pro hockey games are played in historic outdoor venues, visits Soldier Field for a matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins and our own Chicago Blackhawks. If combing StubHub for pricey tickets to the sold-out brawl is too annoying, the spectacle will still be impressive from the confines of your favorite bar.

It may be really obnoxiously cold, but you should still head to Music Frozen Dancing, an outdoor block party at Empty Bottle featuring Marnie Stern, Diarrhea Planet, Heavy Times—and plenty of shifting from foot to foot while shivering. Alas, there'll be Goose Island beer, Dark Matter coffee, and a chili buffet to keep you sort of warm.

Before you have to give up indulging in sinful pleasures for Lent, celebrate Mardi Gras with a bar crawl at all of Navy Pier's hot spots, including Billy Goat Tavern, Riva Crab House, and Mystic Blue. Festivities include live music, face painting, and a raffle.
