Debra Sharpes eclectic menu consistently hits the bulls-eye. For starters there are crab cakes with chipotle mayonnaise or a quesadilla with portobello, roasted tomato, spinach, and mozzarella. Main courses are hearty and satisfying, like marinated skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and garlic mashed potatoes, or chicken breast stuffed with herbed goat cheese and served with potato gnocchi, spinach, and cherry tomatoes. The bread assortment alone is almost worth the trip: it includes savory cheddar-chipotle biscuits and a baguette served in a terra-cotta pot. Brunch features eggs royale (poached, with caviar) and a build-your-own omelet. The inviting patio is open in warm weather.
