This impressionistic British drama (2009) centers on an abandoned warehouse where aimless, self-absorbed squatters from across the continent drink way too much and circle one another romantically. The sympathetic and attractive cast is led by elfin Fernando Tielve (The Devil's Backbone) as a bisexual Spanish drifter in search of his British father and Deborah Francois (L'Enfant) as an inept Belgian retail clerk who pretends she's a flight attendant to keep her new lover from getting too close. Director Alexis Dos Santos stressed improvisation, and his scenes have a lingering emotional rawness, but the handheld camera work left me feeling as woozy as the characters appear to be. In English and subtitled French and Spanish. 98 min.
