In Danny O'Connor's one-man show, written with his brother Robert, he depicts six young men struggling with a vague sense of purposelessness and mid-20s ennui during a night of drinking and self-revelation. Half of them are revealed through monologues; the other, more interesting half are shown in rapid-fire conversations with one another--no mean feat for a single actor. Except for one character's moving if somewhat incongruous speech about serving in Iraq, the material never ventures far from the American Pie model of young masculinity: eternally horny yet lovable. O'Connor's winning performance at least partially redeems the script, however: crisp, specific characterizations and uncanny transformations from one to another make for an almost seamless evening. 6/12-6/28: Mon-Wed, 8 PM. Breadline Theatre, 1802 W. Berenice, 773-304-8507, $10.
