So I woke up for the final time after a sweeps-week mini-series of surprisingly gory nightmares that woke me up every hour for seven hours to find that the Sun-Times turned into the New York Post (and I mean that as a compliment) because Blagojevich is calling out Mayor Daley who is in turn calling out Jody Weis for an increase in violence in the city. The temperature breaks 90 for one day and everything goes off the rails.

For my part, I took a shower this morning and scooped the litter box.
