Hot (rim shot) on the heels of news that the city may seek corporate sponsorships for el stops is news that Kraft will pitch Stove Top stuffing* by heating local bus shelters (h/t Tina). Buying things for us builds more goodwill, I suspect, than merely branding the stuff we already have, and I would fully support sponsorships for adding the Grand and Chicago buses to the CTA bus tracker. That's the first thing that comes to mind, at least.

Speaking of the CTA, has anyone else noticed that the Ashland buses have added weird nightmare alien lighting that makes the inside of the bus feel like a tanning salon or a scene from CSI? And that it only seems to be the Ashland line? It's unsettling, not least because it makes me feel like I'm losing my mind.

* Full disclosure: I f****ng love Stove Top, more than real, homemade, handcrafted stuffing, which may be a character flaw.
