Prompted by the impending indictment of former governor Blagojevich, good government groups in Chicago have convened a panel to discuss ways to stop corruption in Illinois. On Tuesday, February 3, the Crossroads Fund is hosting a discussion called "Twenty Ways to Stop Corruption in Illinois" at the Chicago Temple First United Methodist Church Sanctuary, 77 W. Washington. From 6 PM to 8 PM join Chicago City Clerk Miguele Del Valle, executive director of the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform Cindi Canary, and former Chicago alderman and Illinois state rRepresentative Dick Simpson, among others, as they analyze Illinois corruption and offer tangible solutions for citizens and activists.
