Bill Simmons's breakdown of the game is the only sensible coverage I've read so far, or at least the only coverage that lines up with my own observations. Notably:

* Neither team could run the ball. Fun fact: neither team averaged over three yards per rush. That's abysmal.

* One of the underrated stories going into the game was Pittsburgh's awful short-yardage game. And it was bad enough to keep the Cardinals in the game: "To this point, the Steelers had run a whopping 13 plays inside Arizona's 10-yard line (nine of those inside the 5) ... and gotten 10 points total. Awful. Rashard Mendenhall, you were missed."

In other news, Lewis Lazare's grasp of irony is no stronger than Alanis Morrisette's.
