Every Friday this month from 11 AM to 2 PM, the Metro South Medical Center (12935 S. Gregory, Blue Island) is hosting free blood pressure screenings to promote American Heart Month. Snacks and information will also be provided and participants will qualify for a gift basket drawing (for more free health screenings at the MSMC, click here). Also Friday, Paul Revere School (12331 S. Gregory, Blue Island) will offer free blood pressure and diabetes screenings from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Other free screenings this month:
Sat 2/21 from 10 AM to 3 PM, free blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose screenings will be offered in the office of the 27th District State Representative, Monique Davis (1234 W. 95th).
Wed 2/25 from 1 to 3 PM, the Orland Hills Wal-Mart (9265 W. 159th) will offer free blood pressure screenings.
Sat 2/28 from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, the Prairie Jr. High School (119th and Kostner, Alsip) will offer free blood pressure, blood glucose and body mass index screenings.
