I can only assume this tale of $775,000-condo-hunting by a Tribune associate editor is troll bait (via). If so, win. Best line: "the walk-in closet was fine, though short of inspirational."
NB: It occurs to me that the problem with the article is not so much about the flaunting of wealth. It's that it's boring. The Tribune is run by Sam Zell, one of the most entertainingly wealthy people in America, who should be the go-to for self-indulgent biographical buying sprees.
