ChicaGourmets’ "A Day in the Country" tour of Indiana farms starts at Vandermolen Blueberry Farm for berry picking and a demo of harvesting and processing. After a “country lunch” including local pork, corn, tomatoes, and blueberries, the tour moves on to Rob’s Cob Family Sweet Corn, Belstra Milling Pork Farm, and Bos Family Dairy Farms in time for the evening milking. Bus leaves State and Lake at 8:30 AM, tour starts at Vandermolen at 10:30 AM, 4501 W 800 North, Rensselaer, 708-383-7543, $59, $39 without bus ride.
