Local chefs including Efrain Cuevas, Geno Bahena, and Ina Pinkney, as well as local creameries like Nice Cream, Black Dog Gelato, and Ruth and Phil’s Gourmet Ice Cream will serve “extraordinary and never-before-tasted ice cream creations” at the Chicago Luxury Ice Cream Festival. Chefs were asked to make a recipe they’d always wanted to create but that would be too expensive to sell; judges and attendees will choose the winners. The new “social wine-making” group Community Crush Chicago, hosted by custom winery Crushpad, is recruiting members at a free wine tasting at Taste Food & Wine.
