SmallBar's annual pig roast, tomorrow at 3 PM at 2049 W. Division, is free this year in honor of its fifth anniversary. There'll be pulled pork, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, and craft beer while supplies last.
And next Saturday at 3 PM there's a march downtown to "legalize cachaca," starting at the Gage (24 S. Michigan) and continuing to the Park Grill (11 N. Michigan) and then McCormick and Schmick (1 E. Wacker). Cachaca's already legal, fortunately, since if it weren't you could get busted for consuming the free caipirinhas offered at each stop. The Gage is also offering a free caipirinha-making class from 3:15 to 4:15, though it's limited to the first 25 to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
