Well, the Lollapalooza lineup was finally announced early Tuesday, with its high-and-mighty headliners (some in zombie form) and once-hyped Pitchfork graduates (check out Miles Raymer's reactions to a handful of the announced acts). Tickets are outrageously expensive (anyone want to go in on an $850 VIP pass with me?), and I'm sure the festival will fall on the hottest weekend of the summer, just for good measure. But it'll sell out all the same.

On top of Lollapalooza, this week's Early Warnings also include the Warped Tour's daylong punk grind and several prominent pop acts—some classic (Hall & Oates), some current (Rihanna), and some cringeworthy (Harry Connick Jr). Evanston venue SPACE announced a flurry of shows that will go on sale this Saturday at 11 AM, including Will Hoge, Darrell Scott, Shawn Phillips, Loudon Wainwright III, and New Riders of the Purple Sage.

As always, you can find my list of notables after the jump:

Broken Bells with the Morning Benders at the Vic on May 31
Crystal Castles with Sinden at Congress Theater on August 13
Hall & Oates at the Chicago Theatre on July 23 (on sale Saturday at noon)
