Today's a good day to check out clothes and accessories by local designers:
All day today at the Chicago Fashion Incubator popup shop, CFI alum Agga B is holding a birthday sale on her clothes as well as jewelry by Asia Borycka of Fab Studio. The popup shop shuts its doors after the 17th; they'll wrap things up on Sunday with an all-day trunk show of work by Anna Hovet.
Tonight unconventional designer Anke Loh holds a trunk show from 6 to 9 PM at Luminaire, 301 W. Superior. Meanwhile Loh's fellow SAIC instructor Katrin Schnabl holds a sale benefiting Danceworks Chicago (prices start at $150) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at 23 N. Finally, on Saturday and Sunday Modern Vintage Chicago returns to the monthly Randolph Street Market Festival for a "Spring Clothing & Jewelry Explosion."
