Just kidding. Actually, it has to do more with why antimatter is so hard to come by (h/t Sean). Actually I don't understand it at all.

It inspired the New York Times to publish the most perplexing line of the week:

In a mathematically perfect universe, we would be less than dead; we would never have existed.

I'm not sure theoretical nonexistence is "less than" ceasing to exist. But since we exist I'm not inclined to worry too much about the particulars. Though I do find modestly encouraging the idea of existence as the result of mathematical imperfection (I'm bad at math): living goo, if you will.
