He was a well-heeled German businessman, she was his handsome wife, they were by all appearances a happy couple. The day comes when she is found dead, ostensibly smothered or strangled by him, who then hanged himself. That was the coroner's verdict, anyway. Other folks had contrary theories pertaining to the peculiar electrical apparati they kept in the bedroom.
