Cartoonist and filmmaker Heather McAdams returns with Sweet Little 16, the latest installment in her occasional, long-running series of weird and kitschy selections from her deep, eclectic collection of 16mm short films, trailers, commercials and TV segments.

According to Chicago Filmmakers, "Editing forgotten film treasures in her signature bumper-to-bumper style, Heather will showcase ten hilarious and sexy Scopitones (musical shorts with booming magnetic striped soundtracks)," including George McKelvey's "My Radiation Baby (My Teenage Fallout Queen)," Line Renaud's "Hully Gully," Brook Benton's "Father Time, Mother Nature," Dick and Dee Dee's "Where Have All The Good Times Gone?" and Joi Lansing's "The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else," plus trailers for Switchblade Sisters and Amazon Women, and footage of country singers the Collins Kids, Roger MIller and Roy Clark.

McAdams's husband, country singer Chris Ligon, opens with "hilarious original songs."

Saturday at 8 p.m. at Chicago Filmmakers, 5243 N. Clark St.
