Chicago Latino International FIlm Festival best documentary winner Esau Melendez's Immigrant Nation! The Battle for the Dream, which follows Elvira Arellano's yearlong standoff with immigration authorities, against the backdrop of the 2006 immigration reform movement, screens Friday in the Christian Community Development Association's inaugural Justice Film Festival. Playing tonight, beginning at 9:30 p.m.: Annabel Park and Eric Byler's 9500 Liberty, about Prince William County, Virginia's anti-immigrant law, an antecedent to Arizona's current imbroglio; Return to El Salvador, about the aftermath of the Salvadoran Civil War; and Made in LA, about sweatshop union organizers.
