The maximum-security Pontiac Correctional Center is the second-largest employer in downstate Livingston County, and when Gov. Blagojevich announced in 2008 that he planned to close the 130-year-old prison, residents of the area launched a campaign to keep the prison open.

Brian Seay captures the battle for the prison, against the backdrop of Blagojevich's indictment, in his documentary Pontiac's Rebellion.

It screens with Grant Barbeito's 7-minute comedy Slap tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the Chicago United Film Festival, which runs through Wednesday at the the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave.
