* After a week reading and talking shit about TribCo, it's worth reminding myself and other people that there are reporters there doing excellent work.
* Chicago Magazine's 2010 real estate charts are pretty interesting. Even with the collapse, house prices across the country are up since 1994, and that's the case almost all over Chicago—except in wide swaths of the west and south sides. The drops in prices over that period in Englewood and West Englewood are staggering.
