Feminist media org Beyondmedia Education celebrates its tenth anniversary with Taste of Ten, a ten-chef soiree with provisions from Paul Kahan (Blackbird, Big Star), Jason Hammel (Lula Cafe, Nightwood), and more. Two types of tickets are available for the glitzy annual fund-raiser Celebrity Chef Ball, which benefits Meals on Wheels Chicago: from 8 PM on, $100 "Dine Around" tickets buy access to food from 60-some local restaurants as well as all entertainment, including music and casino-style gaming; $300 "Chef’s Table" tickets cover the previous amenities plus an "interactive seated dining experience," which commences at 6 PM.
