Logan Square Kitchen proprietor Zina Murray, whose year of tribulations with City Hall I covered last month, has a date with the zoning board of appeals. She'll be pleading her case—which, in a nutshell, is that the city should restore the original zoning designation of "restaurant" to her shared-use kitchen and events space, and thus save her from having to meet a (by all accounts unattainable) parking requirement—at 9 AM on Friday, November 19, in City Council chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle.
Over the last month Murray's been busy trying to rally support for her cause; she encourages anyone moved to show their support for "a little green business struggling in a terrible economy" to come to the hearing on the 19th. If you can't make it in person, you can download a letter of support at the LSK website.
