There's some new blood downtown. British brand AllSaints, known for "directional, vintage-inspired design," continues its American invasion (which includes 10 stores and 14 concessions within Bloomingdale's locations across the country since 2009) with the opening of an 11,000-square-foot shop at 700 N. Michigan. And Scoop NYC opens its second Chicago location (the first one opened in Wicker Park four years ago) at 1011 N. Rush.

At City Soles, 2001 W. North, shoes by Chie Mihara and jewelry by Chan Luu are on sale right now.

Today through Sunday, designer consignment experts Luxury Garage Sale set up shop at Sofia Vintage, 72 E. Oak, offering a selection of high-end, gently used secondhand clothing, handbags, and accessories.

Tonight, permanent men's and women's sample sale Re.Stock Shop celebrates its two-year anniversary with one-day-only discounts, swag bags for the first 50 customers, and free mini-makeovers from Salon & Spa Blue. It's from 4 to 8 PM at 1452 N. Milwaukee.

Saturday, someone else is turning two: local designer Anastasia Chatzka celebrates the second birthday of her namesake boutique by offering 20 percent off all spring/summer 2011 styles and 30 to 40 percent off items from past seasons. The shop, at 1740 W. Division, is open from 11 AM to 8 PM.

On Saturday and Sunday, Clever Alice hosts a trunk show for meticulously refurbished vintage sunglasses line Kings of Past--designer brands include Dior, Ray-Ban, and Paloma Picasso. Hours for the boutique, at 1920 N. Damen, are 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and noon to 5 PM on Sunday.
