Three Floyds Brewing just announced that it'll be throwing a 15th anniversary party on November 12 at its brewery in Munster, Indiana, featuring an XV anniversary beer that's a blend of Surly Darkness, Mikkeller’s Beer Geek Brunch, De Struise’s Black Albert, and their own Dark Lord Imperial Stout. Each of the beers is formidable in its own right, so the combination is likely to knock you on your ass. Bottles of the XV will be sold at the event for $30 apiece (per person limit TBA), and beers from Surly, Mikkeller, and De Struise will also be available. Three Floyds hasn't announced the lineup for the live entertainment, but chefs will include Paul Kahan, Justin Large, Mindy Segal, Jonathan Sawyer, and the brewpub's chef, Mike Sheerin.
A total of 2,500 tickets will be sold, 700 of them at the brewery and the rest online; release dates have yet to be announced. Judging by past ticket sales for the brewery's annual Dark Lord Day, they'll go fast and probably crash at least one server in the process.
