Milwaukee-based designer Heather Hambrecht of h(om)e makes extremely cool-looking accessories out of leather remnants, from wristlet bags to wallets. She’ll be at Virtu, 2034 N. Florodora continues its run of simultaneous clothing and accessory designer trunk shows. Over at the original Florodora (330 S. Dearborn), Anna Hovet will be showing her fall collection. At Florodora Shoes, 348 S. Dearborn, metalsmith Susan Elizabeth shows off her jewelry collection. Both are from noon to 6 PM.

On Saturday and Sunday, jewelry designer Marcia Moran will be at Handle With Care, 1706 N. Wells, presenting her jeweled earrings, necklaces, and stackable rings. The store is offering cocktails plus 10 percent off any of her pieces during the event.

Also on Saturday, arts organization Collaboraction is hosting the second annual Fashion Mash, “an evening of style, visual arts and performance,” in its new space in the Flat Iron Arts Building, 1575 N Milwaukee . The fashion show features work by local designers, stylists, and artists, and there will also be bands and DJ sets. It kicks off at 8 PM and the fashion show starts at 10:30. Tickets are $10, which include open bar, or $45 for VIP admission, which covers food from the Flying Saucer, better drinks, and free tickets to see the play Be a Good Little Widow. They’re available at the door or online.
