The 3,000-square-foot watering hole will feature 35 arcade games from the late 70s to mid-90s, including Mario Bros., NBA Jam ("He's on fire!"), Tron, Popeye, and Street Fighter 2. According to co-owner Danny Marks, the games will include "nothing with projectiles", so don't expect any Skee Ball or pop-a-shot, although there will be pinball. Resist the temptation to bring your kids to show them what video games used to be like: it'll be 21+ and loud.
The extensive craft beer list will have strong local ties, and there will be a large selection of bourbons and whiskeys. Marks is a native Chicagoan and former manager of Barcade in Brooklyn, which he notes as an inspiration. As of now there will be no food served.
