At the Oracle Theater, local theater company Alluvium Group presents Happiness: The Pursuit and Other Tragedies, a Homeric tale of one man's path to self-discovery; according to Julia Thiel, it's "bizarre from start to finish, but . . . progresses from disconcerting to mesmerizing."
At the Hamlin Park Fieldhouse Theater in Roscoe Village, Chicago Moving Company presents its production of "Existencia Esencia," an experimental dance performance choreographed by Ayako Kato.
