Chicago-based garage trio Super Minotaur is prepping the Hawaii Pee EP (get it?), a follow-up to the band's debut full-length, Dead Dino. Local label Cold Slice Cassettes will release Hawaii Pee on vinyl early next year.

Fortunately you don't have to wait till 2013 to hear new material from Super Minotaur; the Reader has an exclusive premiere of "Werewolf," just in time for Halloween.

Front man Shane Gettig says the song was inspired by "some American Werewolf in London shit." "Werewolf" is a ripper with a great guitar riff, but it reminds me more of 50s surf movies than of John Landis's classic 80s horror-comedy. Stream the track below. Super Minotaur plays with local rapper (and Yelawolf touring partner) ShowYouSuck at Schubas on Mon 12/10.
