Since the deadline passed on submissions for this year's Photo Issue, we've been astonished by the volume of high-quality photos that you've handed in. After receiving around 300 photos, we've narrowed down 75 shots for you to choose from.

Head to our Facebook page and follow us on Instagram (@chicago_reader) to vote on which photos you think are the best of the bunch. From today until Thursday, December 13, like any photo in our Photo Issue 2012 folder on Facebook to cast your vote, and follow our Instagram feed all this week and like any Photo Issue image there for a separate vote. And of course, make sure to come back after Christmas to see all the photos included in our sixth annual Photo Issue.
