Street View is a series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights fascinatingly fashionable Chicagoans.
Sometimes I'm asked what I look for in the people I shoot. And honestly I can't really explain. I'm basically searching for the "click." It's like everything about that look makes sense—it works for the person and the situation they're in. And it always feels natural, no matter how much effort has been put into it.
I spotted Natalia while driving, and I just had to stop. Love all those shades of brown, the proportions, her attitude. It clicked! She was shot in Humboldt Park—here are more pictures of her and the neighborhood.
