There are few things that go together as well as books and booze. Or purchasing books while under the influence of booze. That's the thinking, anyway, behind Curbside Splendor and the Chicago Writer's House's Pop-Up Book Fair, which for five hours will turn the Empty Bottle into a bookstore.

At Gallery Cabaret, the Chicago Television Project highlights "the work of individuals in the city committed to producing fun and engaging programming for children," while also exploring the history of Chicago children's television shows.
