Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered:

Local indie-folk singer-songwriter Ty Maxon, whose sound Kevin Warwick describes as "delicate, whispery cabin folk," plays the Burlington tonight. Decker and Kellen & Me open.

Dan Savage has been writing Savage Love for over two decades. Tonight you can meet him in the flesh at Lincoln Hall, where he discusses his new book, American Savage.

The Chicago Gospel Music Festival kicks off today and runs through Sunday at Pritzker Pavilion. The good news: GMAC Mass Choir and Vickie Winans headline. The bad news: the gospel choir competition was cancelled.
