Archizines at Public Works Gallery A display of 100 alternative architecture magazines and journals from more than 20 countries. Opening reception 7-10 PM.

It Takes a Hard Heart: The Life Work of Eddie Harris at Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art A look at the work of Chicagoan Eddie Harris, which homes in on subjects such as power and family. Opening reception 5-8 PM.

Saturday 9/14

Equilíbrio at Maxwell Colette Gallery The last day to see artists Rodrigo Level and Gabriel Kieling's range of works, which are inspired by Sao Paolo's urban atmosphere.

Ipseity at Manifold An exhibition featuring sculptures by Bob Faust that explore the relationship between self and society. Opening reception 6-9 PM.
