Tony Adler praises the performances of Karen Janes Woditsch and Craig Spidle, who play Julia and her husband, Paul, saying the characters "come across, engagingly, as both a perfectly average married couple and entirely remarkable people."

The Clash of the Pie-Tins is going down this afternoon at Holstein Park. At the ninth annual Bucktown Apple Pie Contest, a panel of judges will choose the best homemade apple pie in Chicago. The best part? You get the leftovers.
