Take a gander at something visually stimulating this weekend. Here's what's going down in visual arts.

Thursday 10/24
"Until One Day . . ." at Chicago Artists' Coalition BOLT resident Adebukola Bodunrin posed the question "Given the power, how would you end the world?" From the responses, she generated a hand-animated doomsday narrative. Today's your last chance to see it.

Friday 10/25

"Disappear Here" at Johalla Projects The last day to visit a mixed-media exhibition featuring work by Heather Gabel and Matt Skiba.

"Figure/Found" at ARC Gallery Opening day of a mixed-media exhibit by Dian Sourelis. Reception 6-9 PM.

Saturday 10/26

"The Spotless Mirror" at Schneider Gallery The final day of an exhibition featuring photos by Janna Ireland. The images have roots in feminism, domestic life, and art from the 80s.

Sunday 10/27

"Isolated Incidents" at the Charnel House The last day of a group show featuring multidisciplinary work by Lillstreet Art Center artists in residence.

Ongoing

"Of Walking" at the Museum of Contemporary Photography An exhibit looking at the relationship between pedestrians and deep insight. Includes the work of artists such as Vito Acconci and Sohei Nishino. Read Andrea Gronvall's write-up here.
