Reader's Agenda Sun 11/17: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, An Iliad, and Arrested Development Trivia Night

Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Griffin Theatre Company's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee follows a group of middle school kids competing in—you guessed it—a spelling bee. Jack Helbig says the "cast find the heart and soul of every character, and the result is nothing short of R-E-S-P-L-E-N-D-E-N-T." See it at Theater Wit.

Lisa Peterson and Denis O'Hare's Homeric adaptation wowed us when it premiered in 2011, and apparently we're not the only ones preparing to be rewowed: the entire run is sold out, so you'll need to get creative. One of our theater recommendations for fall.

Jamie Jirak hosts four rounds of trivia on Arrested Development at pH Comedy Theater. Here's one piece of info to get you started: there's always money in the banana stand.
