Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

Doc Films, the University of Chicago's student film society, hosts a screening of the Nic Cage actioner Con Air, which former Reader film critic Lisa Alspector called "both cheeky and tongue-in-cheek because it's so far over-the-top."

At Co-Prosperity Sphere, South Side Projections screens two documentaries with divergent opinions about the Chicago Picasso in Daley Plaza: The Chicago Picasso and Tom Palazzolo's The Bride Stripped Bare (both 1967). Palazzolo attends the screening.

If you did acid as a youngster, you're probably aware of the five levels of the psychedelic experience. None of them explicitly involve warbling synthesizers or fuzzed-out guitars, but Chicago Psych Fest V is subtitled "Five Levels of the Experience" all the same. This year's edition of the fest kicks off tonight at the Hideout with bands like Verma, Mako Sica, and Energy Gown, and continues through Saturday.
