Looking for something to do today? Agenda's got you covered.

In an effort to support hunger relief, jazz musicians donate performances at classic venues around the city for the fifth annual Chi-Town Jazz Festival. Tonight brings things to a close with the Pat Metheny Unity Band at the Symphony Center and Jeff Lindberg's Chicago Jazz Orchestra at Jazz Showcase.

It Gets Better, a collaboration between Guild Literary Complex and About Face Theatre, is a reading series focusing on the themes of history, mythology, gender, and high school; this installment features readers Lily Be, Jill Howe, Greg Ledger, and Precious. Check it out tonight for free at Schubas.

Moshin Hamid is in conversation with WBEZ's Alison Cuddy about his latest novel, How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, as part of the Chicago Humanities Festival winter series. The discussion takes place at First United Methodist Church at the Chicago Temple tonight.
