On this beautiful fall weekend, the Chicago Architecture Foundation opens the doors to more than 200 of the city's fabulous buildings for its annual Open House Chicago.

The sites include places we might have walked by and wondered about—like Ukrainian Village's knockout collection of churches. But there are also intriguing private spaces not usually open to the public (such as the offices of some legendary architectural firms), and treasures we could have passed without suspecting they're there.
