As you know if you've read this week's Gossip Wolf, tonight the Empty Bottle hosts Cuddlestock, a four-way release party thrown by local garage label Tall Pat Records, which is run by the very tall Pat Sullivan. Tonight's third-annual edition of Cuddlestock will include performances by Flesh Panthers, Clearance, the Rubs, and Glyders, whose self-titled seven-inch is the freshest Tall Pat release—its A side, "Every Boy & Girl" is today's 12 O'Clock Track. The band sound like they came straight out of the 60s, channeling the bluesy garage-psych of the Kinks. While a lot of Glyders tunes work up a huge wall of guitar feedback behind their simple, smooth melodies, "Every Boy & Girl" keeps it laid-back and in the pocket. It's cool and calm, with an unforgettably huge and dreamy chorus. Check them and their excellent labelmates tonight at Cuddlestock, which starts at 9 PM. Listen to "Every Boy & Girl" below.
