Mon 5/16:
MacArthur fellow and Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Lynsey Addario discusses her career at the Field Museum. 5:30 PM

Enjoy the indoor and outdoor gardens at Garfield Park Conservatory (300 N. Central Park) while sipping on some of Chicago's best craft beer at Beer Under Glass, the Chicago Craft Beer Week kick-off event. Tickets include small plates courtesy of local restaurants and a souvenir glass. 6:30 PM

Thu 5/19: A release show in celebration of the first issue of Hambook, a magazine made by improvisers, features the authors of the first issue participating in a panel discussion and performing at Flat Iron Comedy (1579 N. Milwaukee). 10 PM
