Mon 11/14: SlutTalk hosts stand-up comedians Allyssa Bujdoso, Amy Sumpter, and Alex Seligsohn, along with storytellers Ada Cheng and Anita M. Mechler for Feminist Happy Hour: #NastyWoman Edition at the Whistler (2421 N. Milwaukee). All are invited to "cry tears of defeat into delicious cocktails." 6:30-8:30 PM
Mon 11/14: Anna Sale hosts a live recording of popular podcast Death, Sex & Money at the Music Box Theatre (3733 N. Southport) with guest actor and writer Mara Wilson, followed by a screening of Clueless (handpicked by Wilson) as part of the Music Box Theatre's "My Favorite Flick" series. 8 PM
Tue 11/15: Sauced Market hosts an anniversary party at Emporium Arcade Bar (2363 N. Milwaukee) to celebrate two years of "fooding, boozing, and shopping at the same damn time." Along with the usual variety of vendors, the Field Museum will be on hand to ink guests in a temporary tattoo parlor. 6-11 PM

Tue 11/15: Join the Spanish Square (1358 W. Belmont) for the Heritage Wine Dinner, featuring six Spanish wines paired with five courses created by executive chef Rafael Hurtado. 7-9 PM
Wed 11/16: Food Tank, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and University of Chicago Booth School of Business partner together to host the first annual Chicago Food Tank Summit. The event, featuring more than 40 speakers from the food and agriculture fields plus interactive panels, is held at University of Chicago's Gleacher Center (450 N. Cityfront Plaza). 9 AM-5 PM
Wed 11/16: Chicago stand-up Kristen Toomey records her first album, Mother.fucker., at Timothy O'Toole's (622 N. Fairbanks). 9:30 PM

Thu 11/17: SAIC MFA student Cassandra Davis presents her solo show "Of Roses and Jessamine," investigating "spatial and corporeal sites of ritual." Opening reception at the LeRoy Neiman Center (37 S. Wabash) features performance by Industry of the Ordinary. 4-6 PM
Thu 11/17: Shedd Aquarium (1200 S. Lake Shore) and Revolution Brewing pair up to host the Penguin Hops Release Party. A night of live music and craft beer, the aquarium celebrates the release of a collaborative limited-edition harvest ale using the Shedd's hops vines. The event benefits aquarium's conservation initiatives. 5 PM
