Vertical Gallery celebrates its fourth anniversary with work by Blek Le Rat.

Xiu Xiu plays the Empty Bottle on Fri 3/31.
Experimental music group Xiu Xiu
plays the Empty Bottle (1035 N. Western) tonight. Austin Brown writes, "Despite developing a four-on-the-floor rhythmic backbone for their recent Forget
(Polyvinyl), these monarchs of bloodletting through experimental music leave no reason to believe they'll pivot into the warm embrace of synthpop . . . It's still not pop, but it is death disco of a sort—and it sounds good on them." 9 PM.
